Investigation report: July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of a helicopter in Thorburn Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador

Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20A0027) into the July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter in Thorburn Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
