Investigation report: April 2020 striking of a dock by a passenger ferry in Tsawwassen, British Columbia
Richmond, British Columbia, 11 February 2021 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (M20P0110) into the 18 April 2020 striking of a dock by the roll-on/roll-off passenger ferry Spirit of Vancouver Island in Tsawwassen, British Columbia.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
