TSB deploys a team of investigators following an engine fire of a cargo aircraft at Calgary International Airport, Alberta
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators following the engine fire that occurred during engine start, followed by the flight crew evacuation on a Federal Express McDonnell Douglas MD10-30F cargo aircraft at Calgary International Airport, Alberta, on 28 November 2022. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
