Investigation report: November 2019 main-track train derailment in Bolton-Ouest, Quebec

Dorval, Quebec, 29 June 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (R19D0117) into the 16 November 2019 main-track derailment of a Central Maine & Quebec Railway train in Bolton-Ouest, Quebec.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
