Investigation report: Main-track train derailment north of Prince George, British Columbia in June 2021

Richmond, British Columbia,  — 

Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (R21V0118) into the main-track train derailment that occurred on 3 June 2021 in a remote area about 85 miles north of Prince George, British Columbia.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
