On 14 July 2025, a Great Slave Helicopters 2018 Ltd. Bell Textron Inc. 206L-3 helicopter was operating in the area around Behchokǫ̀, Northwest Territories, supporting tree planting operations. The helicopter was equipped with STC SH18-69 Van Horn Composite Main Rotor Blades (part number 20633000-101).
On 2 May 2025, a Horizon Helicopters Ltd. Airbus AS350B helicopter was conducting a training flight from Whitehorse/Erik Nielsen International Airport (CYXY), Yukon, at approximately 1400 Mountain Standard Time. The training flight was conducted largely in a clearing in a valley approximately 5.5 nautical miles east of the airport. After about an hour of several different training exercises, a series of simulated engine failure exercises (autorotations) were conducted to a large clearing at the base of the valley.
On 27 January 2024, a Beech 200 aircraft operated by Beaver Air Services was conducting a daytime visual flight rules (VFR) repositioning flight from Winnipeg/James Armstrong Richardson International Airport to Winnipeg/St. Andrews Airport, Manitoba, with only the pilot on board.
